C.H.E.E.R.S. Youth Ministry

C.H.E.E.R.S. is an out-of-the-box ministry for youth from 6th grade through 12th grade, where 'everybody knows your name, and their always glad you came.' Our mission is to develop, spread and live out a faith in Jesus Christ.

Some opportunities for youth through C.H.E.E.R.S. Youth Ministry include:

Weekly hangouts Sunday Nights in the Catacombs, 5:30-7p.m. (during the school year)
Special Summer Activities
The S.O.S. Drama Team that "Shares Our Story" of faith through drama
Bible Study
Mission projects
Retreats
and other fun, fellowship activities!

Confirmation

We are now planning for our next Confirmation Class for youth in grades 7 and above, who have not yet been confirmed, beginning Fall 2010. If you are interested, please contact Pastor Bill Jones.

The Margaretta Griffith Scholarship Fund

The Margaretta Griffith Scholarship fund at Epworth was created to offer our college students (and those about to start college in the fall) some financial assistance as they pursue their college education. Scholarships are awarded each summer based on a tier system, factoring in church/faith community involvement, GPA, and community service/mission work.
